The loved ones of teenagers unaccounted for after a devastating fire at a establishment in a Swiss winter destination are enduring an excruciating wait for confirmed information and appealing for clues about their loved ones online.

The fire engulfed the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Verified video reveal the roof structure being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are raised in celebration.

Authorities have stated that it could take days if not weeks to identify the victims of the disaster, which killed numerous partygoers and hurt another over a hundred. Officials said on the latest update that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with the process continuing to identify the other six.

In the waiting period, loved ones have been using the internet to appeal for clues about their loved ones who were present at the venue that night.

Appeals for the Unaccounted For

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are still unconfirmed, according to an appeal from his mother.

The resident of Lutry near Lausanne, explained to a publication that she had returned to the city to see if he was in the hospital, while his other parent did the same in the capital, but was unsuccessful.

"It feels like a terrible dream, a nightmare. The options are finding my son in the hospital mortuary, or I find him in a serious state. It's horrific," she stated.

She added that some of his companions had been discovered with burns covering a significant portion of their bodies. "There are no words; they endured hell."

The Italy's government has confirmed that a number of of its young people remain missing.

Young athlete Emanuele Galeppini, 16, was last in contact around midnight on New Year's Eve, his father said.

Included in that group is Emanuele Galeppini, a 16-year-old junior golfer, who hailed from Genoa but now residing in the UAE.

The national sporting body has released a tribute that he is deceased, without directly referencing the fire, honoring a "talented young man who represented passion and true sportsmanship."

His father, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An official spokesperson has clarified that a official announcement of his death is not yet.

Additional Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is also unaccounted for. His mother said that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with a group and found himself at the venue.

"A companion told me they escaped after the fire erupted and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he they were separated," she recounted, adding he had been wearing a distinctive gold chain.

One of his teachers commented, "I remember his good nature and smile, alongside great maturity. Every time offer to get me a coffee."

Alice Kallergis, who holds dual Greek and Swiss citizenship but lives full-time in the country, was also at the bar on New Year's Eve, according to reports.

Her sibling has posted an appeal online, saying the relatives has had "no news" regarding the teenager or the three friends she was with, who are also unaccounted for.

Consular authorities from her other nation say they are actively engaged with the developments.
