FC Barcelona to Host First Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in domestic competition over two years after they moved out so building work could begin.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel and new dressing rooms.

Barça organized an open training session inside the stadium earlier this month. The club said approval is being pursued by UEFA to host the next European match versus the German side on 9 December in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
