Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

A jet carrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an official announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The plane touched down in accordance with established safety measures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson stated in a online announcement.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to Brussels at the time.

This event is not the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet transporting a senior official has encountered equipment failures.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was compelled to head back to Washington after encountering a mechanical problem.
